2013 has seen fewer pieces here than ever; since the end of December 2012, when I received the announcement I’d been awarded an arts grant for my concert series, I have written little. I am averse to writing record reviews, and so I think from time to time how I might develop a more substantive approach to writing about this music, if I am going to continue writing about it at all.

I do intend on returning to posting here following the May 10th crow concert, as it is the last scheduled event in the series until August. As always, my gratitude to those musicians and labels who have generously shared their releases.
